Description

Adenium Obesum is a deciduous, flowering, semi­ succulent, spreading, medium perennial shrub, usually with a hugely swollen: and tuber-like main stem (a caudex). The branches are several cm in diameter blunt-tipped, arranged in spirals, ascending or trailing on the ground with the end raised up. Grows around  1-1.Sm tall with a 2m spread under landscape conditions.

Noted as reaching Sm tall with a 4m spread and a trunk diameter of up to  1m in its native habitat. Slow growing at a rate of 15-20cm p/a.
